Featured Postcard ~ Illinois
January 17, 2013 7 Comments
We happily got another postcard in the mail a few days ago from a family participating in the Postcard Exchange! This one came from my sweet and funny friend, Christine, at MomTimes4. She sent me this postcard of the Quincy Bayview Bridge, which is a cable suspension bridge that spans the Mississippi River, linking Quincy Illinois to West Quincy, Missouri. Thank you, Christine!
Seriously, if you haven’t been to her blog yet, MomTimes4, you need to. Now.
She draws on a paint program (I think!) these great comics of her and her family. How things have changed over time, crazy kids’ antics, and how it all affects her sanity.
It’s always great fun to see what her picture of the day will be! Me and my 12 year old daughter, Maggie, look forward to Christine’s interpretation of life daily- they brighten our day.
P.S. Dear Christine, We are anxiously awaiting to see a REAL family photo of you guys on your blog someday because, as it is is now, you are a comic in our minds. You are your avatar!!! LOL

As a reminder, the Postcard Exchange will be continuing all year, so please feel free to contact me if you are interested in participating. I’d love to feature your postcard and blog!

What a beautiful postcard! LOL! I do need to post a real family picture so people don’t think I am a creepy old man! Ha Ha!
Haha, no not a creepy old man!! LOL But you ARE a drawing!
How much fun you are having!!
Sure am!!
What a great idea! Nice photo, too.
Thanks, it’s been fun!
