Turkey Burgers

We have this meal every Sunday night. All four of us love turkey burgers this way (Samuel is a bit young still, but he sits with us ;) ). It’s our last hurrah of the weekend, so to speak - our last chance to party before the new week starts!

It’s so easy to make them and they are soooo good. They are very similar in taste to a beef hamburger, because of the worcestershire sauce, but healthier. Enjoy!

Pic 1 Marinate the turkey patties in worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Meanwhile, I cook the steak fries.

Pic 2 Cover a broiler pan with foil and spray with non-stick spray (I cover it because it makes cleanup a lot faster).

Pic 3 Place patties on the pan, use more worcestershire sauce and a little more salt and pepper. Broil for 8 minutes, on middle rack in oven.

Pic 4 Flip patties, drizzle with a little more sauce, and broil for an additional 6 minutes.

Serve with lettuce, tomato, and any condiments you like!

My husband finally convinced me to try turkey burgers about a year ago. Now we have them almost once a week. My daughter likes them, too. I’ve never marinated them, though. I’m going to try the worcestershire sauce idea next time. Thanks. ~Lori

We love Worcestershire sauce! This looks really good! I’m going to have to pick up some ground turkey! :-)

  4. We don’t eat red meat-we eat ground turkey instead! I buy the ground turkey from the meat counter and make the patties myself. I never thought about soaking them in Worchestire Sauce (I’m not even going to try to spell it, not today). The next time I make turkeyburgers I will definitely try it.
